Writing interesting drum patterns and experimenting with samples and drum machines.
03
Collecting samples and making them your own with clever techniques to edit and mangle them to fit your sound.
04
Synthesisers have been used since the early days of music production. With technology advancing to where it is today you have access to powerful software instruments which you can use to shape your own sound to your music.
05
Having a basic understanding of music theory is important. Even the most simple electronic music tracks have to adhere to the fundamental of music theory.
06
When working with singers or bands its important to know how to set your software program so you can plug in mic's guitars or recording a full drum kit.
07
Training your ears to hear what needs addressing in your mix to allow your elements to cut through takes time and practice. What our course does is cut down your learning curve and stops you second guessing.
08
Once your music is up to the standard you will need to know how to get your foot in the door. Approaching labels and DJs can seem tough, but with the right knowledge you will be able to create a professional image of yourself booking photo shoots and creating a press pack.
